In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership across facilities, construction, and infrastructure programmes, supporting the delivery of projects valued at €30m+ per year. You’ll play a key role in shaping the workplace of the future, ensuring projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and in line with operational and strategic objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, commercially aware professional who enjoys working across multi‑disciplinary teams and making a visible impact in a complex industrial environment.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of technical delivery across a diverse project portfolio, including new builds, refurbishments, and workspace reconfigurations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Project & Portfolio Leadership
Leading the technical delivery of multiple construction and facilities projects, ensuring alignment with electrical, mechanical, and building fabric standards at every stage.
  • Technical Governance & Compliance
Establishing clear governance, ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality, and safety expectations while complying with statutory and Airbus standards.
  • Facilities & Maintenance Alignment
Ensuring all project activity supports long‑term maintenance, operational resilience, and business continuity across mechanical and electrical assets.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Acting as a trusted technical interface for internal customers, understanding business needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Supplier & Partner Management
Managing contractors and suppliers through SLAs and KPIs to ensure high performance and value for money.
  • Systems & Data Management
Ensuring all projects are accurately captured and maintained within CMMS / CAFM systems.
  • Sustainability & Cost Efficiency
Driving energy and water efficiency initiatives while contributing to cost‑reduction and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Health, Safety & Environment
Championing a safety‑first culture and ensuring all work aligns with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

About you

We’re keen to hear from candidates who bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and project delivery experience. You’ll ideally have:
  • A strong electrical or mechanical engineering background (electrical preferred, including HV/LV assets)
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing suppliers or subcontractors
  • Solid project management fundamentals, ideally within facilities, construction, or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of building regulations, maintenance standards, and facilities operations
  • Experience managing budgets, operating costs, and investment portfolios
