About the Role

Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit a Project Manager (Programme Support) to play a key role within the A320 Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a complex, high-profile aerospace environment, supporting multi-functional teams across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering and quality.

You will provide dedicated programme and project support to the Multi-Functional Team (MFT) Representative, helping to ensure strategic alignment, supplier performance, and operational delivery across critical wing and aerostructure supply chain perimeters.

This role would suit an experienced project or programme professional who enjoys working in fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environments and is motivated by solving complex operational challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Project Manager (Programme Support), your responsibilities will include:
Programme & Project Support
  • Supporting the definition, coordination and deployment of MFT strategies in line with the wider A320 programme objectives.
  • Helping to prioritise, track and enable procurement and supply chain projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Providing structured programme management support to ensure delivery against cost, quality and schedule targets.
Supplier & Procurement Engagement
  • Supporting supplier selection activities, including Call for Tenders and Make vs Buy decision processes.
  • Assisting with the management of suppliers across recurring and non-recurring costs, claims, risks and opportunities.
  • Working closely with procurement, supply chain quality and supplier management teams to maintain performance and continuity of supply.
Operational & Risk Support
  • Coordinating support for tactical transfers of work to enable ramp-up, dual sourcing and risk mitigation.
  • Supporting the resolution of operational issues, including minor and major industrial problems that may impact delivery.
  • Contributing to crisis management activities and supporting corrective action plans where risks to aircraft delivery arise.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Acting as a key interface between programme teams, procurement, manufacturing, engineering and suppliers.
  • Building strong working relationships to support effective communication, decision-making and delivery.
What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
  • Proven project or programme management experience within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder settings (e.g. procurement, quality, engineering).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence supporting operational issue resolution and working under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience within aerospace or aircraft manufacturing is highly desirable, but not essential.
We welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience who are keen to develop further within the aerospace sector.

What’s in It for You
  • The opportunity to work on a flagship Airbus programme with real operational impact.
  • Exposure to complex, large-scale aerospace supply chain and manufacturing environments.
  • A collaborative, inclusive working culture supported by Guidant Global.
  • Hybrid working model offering flexibility.
  • Competitive hourly rates (PAYE or Umbrella options available).
  • Strong potential for contract extension based on performance and business need.
