As a Building & Construction Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of construction projects, including:
  • Leading client‑side construction projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handover
  • Developing and managing project delivery plans, CAPEX business cases, and risk & opportunity registers
  • Providing clear leadership and direction to multi‑disciplinary project teams and stakeholders
  • Managing budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring resources are used effectively
  • Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant and kept up to date
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards across all project activities
  • Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks, escalating issues where required
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external partners

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from professionals who bring strong client‑side construction experience and a collaborative leadership style. You’ll ideally have:
  • Proven project management experience within the building and construction sector
  • A strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle and associated processes
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, including design, operation and lifecycle
  • The ability to translate client briefs into clear construction requirements and scopes of work
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety practices
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to lead and motivate multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Experience using project tools such as MS Project and Google Workspace (GSuite)

Essential qualifications
  • A qualification in Construction or Building Services (BSc or HND), or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant professional membership (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET)

What you’ll receive

When you join Guidant Global, you’ll benefit from:
  • Competitive hourly rates (£30.23 PAYE / £40.44 Umbrella)
  • A 12‑month contract with strong potential for extension
  • The opportunity to work on complex, high‑impact construction projects
  • A professional, supportive environment that values safety, collaboration and delivery excellence
  • Exposure to career‑enhancing projects within a well‑established organisation
