What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Procurement Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Act as Finance Business Partner and MFT Lead for Long Bed and Short Bed Detail Parts Procurement, providing clear financial direction aligned to commercial strategy.
- Lead and influence financial decision‑making in supplier tendering, ensuring sustainable cost, performance, and supply chain health.
- Support supplier negotiations, claims, and performance improvement plans, working closely with procurement and PM teams.
- Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with wider business objectives.
- Produce and present robust financial reporting, offering clear insight into performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and challenge business cases and investment proposals, ensuring sound financial assumptions, ROI evaluation, and value delivery.
- Support operational investment projects across recurring cost, inventory, non‑recurring cost, and capex (tools/jigs).
- Collaborate across a wide stakeholder network in a matrix organisation, influencing at senior levels both in the UK and internationally.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from finance professionals who bring:
- A strong background in finance business partnering, ideally within a large manufacturing or commercial environment.
- Qualified accountant status (CIMA preferred) with circa 5+ years post‑qualification experience.
- Solid experience using SAP or equivalent financial reporting systems.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage complexity, and balance recurring and ad‑hoc priorities.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience supporting negotiations and strategic decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting to senior leaders.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.

Security & Compliance
- BPSS clearance required (completed by Airbus Security).
- Role falls inside IR35.
