Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus to recruit a Supply Chain Business Controller to join their Industrial Supply Chain business management team in Broughton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the centre of a globally recognised organisation, supporting key decision-making across logistics, transport, and supply chain operations. You’ll gain strong visibility across the business while developing a deeper understanding of large-scale, complex supply chain environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving operational and financial performance across supply chain activities. Responsibilities include:
Supporting Operational Planning (OP) activities in collaboration with central finance teams
Monitoring and reporting on budgets, resources, and performance across operational teams
Leading and coordinating the resource management network across Supply Chain Operations, working closely with HR and Finance
Producing insightful analysis and decision-making materials on resource strategy (including workforce planning, attrition, and diversity)
Contributing to make vs. buy strategies and wider competitiveness improvement projects
Driving improvements in financial tracking, reporting accuracy, and governance processes
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who are motivated, analytical, and confident working in a complex, stakeholder-driven environment. You’ll bring:
Proven experience in a similar role within a large or complex organisation, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate and influence across multiple teams
Experience of financial planning, reporting, and performance tracking
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in enhancing processes and reporting capability
Desirable:
Experience in governance processes or financial controls
Knowledge of macros or advanced data tools
