Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus to recruit an Enablement Lead & Business Support professional within the Wing of Tomorrow programme.
This is a key role supporting the development of future wing technologies, where you will lead logistics and enablement activity while driving the successful delivery of business support and project management processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational requirements are effectively translated into robust industrial processes.
This position offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking programme focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and future manufacturing systems.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a central role in enabling project success by:
Leading the logistics and enablement strategy and supporting its implementation across demonstrator build activities
Driving delivery of business support projects using structured project management processes
Supporting the set-up, development and evolution of project management structures and processes
Collaborating with manufacturing, automation, digitalisation and build teams to embed operational requirements into industrial processes
Ensuring the smooth operation of enablement systems covering people, machines, materials, methods and measurement
Managing project planning, reporting, KPIs and integrated schedules, ensuring accurate performance tracking
Establishing and maintaining risk registers, reporting frameworks and governance processes
Coordinating stakeholder reporting and supporting business case and financial planning activities
Supporting operational activities such as supplier coordination, purchase orders, diary management and visitor engagement
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from individuals who bring:
Experience working within a development or manufacturing environment
Proven background in logistics, enablement or operational support
Strong project management capability in an industrial or engineering setting
Knowledge of production systems, including SQCDP principles and automated environments
Experience working with internal and external service providers
Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment
Confidence using digital tools, including Google-based systems
Flexibility to travel within the UK where required

Competitive hourly rates:
£25.95 per hour PAYE
£34.72 per hour Umbrella
Standard 35-hour working week across 4.5 days, offering a strong work-life balance
