Technical Incoming Inspector – Belfast
Location: Belfast (onsite)
Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour PAYE / £46.82 per hour Umbrella
Hours: 36 hours per week over 4.5 days, between 7am–7pm (agreed at business discretion)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: BPSS+ (arranged by Airbus Security)

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out inspection, quality control and quality assurance functions
- Ensuring product compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, approving authority requirements and regulations
- Providing instruction and advice to operators as required
- Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme
- Working flexibly as part of a team
- Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies, instigating investigation and corrective action
Essential
- A completed electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, with a minimum of 2 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace environment, or a manufacturing/assembly/tooling environment
- Familiarity with quality control requirements
- The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of company manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements and standards
- ONC/A levels or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of 3D metrology
- A competitive hourly rate of £35.00 PAYE / £46.82 Umbrella
